Sikaflex® 295 UV-Resistant Adhesive Sealant

Sikaflex-295 UV is a polyurethane adhesive/sealant specifically formulated for bonding acrylic and polycarbonate windows and hatches.

Use with Sika Aktivator 205 (formerly Cleaner 226) and Sika Primer 209 D for these applications.

295 UV is also an excellent, color stable, extremely UV-resistant sealant for general marine sealing.

• For mineral glass windows, do NOT use for bonding the glass in place (use Sikaflex-296), but it can be used for edge joint sealing (avoid feather edging over the glass)

• Resistant to UV damage, cracking, chalking and streaking

• Resistant to yellowing

• Very short cut-off when terminating the bead; less mess

• Low viscosity - easy to gun

• Bonds very well to itself and other cured polyurethanes

• The 10.3 oz cartridge is used with a caulking cartridge gun and the 3 oz is a squeeze tube, no cartridge gun required.

NOTE - for improved bonding of the 295 UV Adhesive Sealant, you can use it in conjunction with Sika Aktivator 205 and Sika Primer 209 D, each of which have required adhesion promoters.
